RAC

Recognition of Acquired Competencies

Your experience can put a diploma within reach!

What is RAC?

The Recognition of Acquired Competencies (RAC) is a process used to identify, document, assess and officially recognize your skills and competencies and determines any missing education or training components you need, thereby accelerating or giving you direct access to a diploma.

Is RAC for you?

RAC is for you if you are motivated to update your skills, have years of working experience in one field, have had variety of learning experiences, volunteer or take on new roles and responsibilities.

How do I start?

With the help of an advisor you will go through an analysis and interview process to determine the competencies to be evaluated and conditions for recognition. This process will help determine whether you qualify for full competency recognition or if you require partial training. The advisor will then help you plan to take any courses you are missing to obtain a diploma.
